October Card Club

What a wonderful time I had at Card Club with all you who came in September!  It was so awesome to spend time with Maurine, Jeanette, and Ajita in the morning and Emily, Megan, Brittany, Alicia, La Donna and Nicole in the evening and Sonia on Friday night.  Seeing you all create your cards, and talk and support each other makes my cup of blessings spill over.  I apologize that I forgot to take a picture of all the funness!

Sign up to make  6 cards for $8.  If you wish to make additional cards it is:  3 cards for $4 or 12 cards for $16.   Card Club for October and November on Wednesday for Los Angeles County and Friday for Orange County:

February Card Class


Dear Stampin' Sisters:  our February Card Class will be on Wednesday, February 20 @ 11AM and 8 PM.  Sign up to make 6 cards.  I love it when you come!!!!

1.  Adhesives (tape runner and refill OR double sided tape)
2.   Glue dots 
3.  Scissors 
4. Ruler
5. Bone folder.   
I may have tape runners  for purchase that night @ $3.25,  or refills for $2.25, in case you need to purchase one.  

 B.  Please, pre-pay the non-refundable $5 class materials fee

C.  If you sign up for a class and cannot come, you must find a stamp buddy (sorry, I cannot be your stamp buddy; I'm leading the club) to stamp your cards for you.  (When you sign up I take time to prepare your cards by measuring, cutting, counting out and figuring out supplies and accessories needed.  This preparation cannot be "undone.")

D.  Due to time constraints and scheduling availability, there will not be any more make up classes.   Thank you for understanding.

November Cards for K's Ward

In November I will have my card club in Brea for my sister.  These are the cards from which you may choose to make your set of 6 cards.  Just $5 to make a set of 6 Christmas cards.  Plus, every set you make you get a bonus card from me.  Please, bring scissors;  adhesive, stamps, ink, pre-cut and measured materials,  etc. and envelopes provided.  Sign up soon!  This class happens on Tuesday, November 13.

October 2012 Card Club

October Card Club will happen on our Super Saturday (9 AM-1 PM).  Sign up by emailing me to make 2 sets of 4 cards, to make 8 cards total!  Cost for all 8 cards is $5.  That means you get a bonus of 2 cards, which is what I like to do for you on Christmas cards.  Check out the cards and let me know which 2 card sets you want to make.  The cards are listed 1-8.  I will add a title to the card for further identification.  All of the cards except card 1 have an optional sentiment inside.

**NOTE: No Card Club in November due to third Wednesday being the day before Thanksgiving.

Sign up via email or at church to make 6 cards.  You can make a 7th "shape" card when you pre-pay your materials fee by Sunday, September 16.

Date: Wednesday, September 19, 2012
Times: 11 AM, 7 PM and 8:15 PM
Place: my place
Pre-pay: $5 materials fee (non-refundable)
Bring:  Card Kit (at least the first 3 items): tape runner, glue dots, bone folder, scissors, pencil, eraser, ruler, etc.  

Have a stamp buddy you can call on last minute in case you can't make it.  Please, let me know who your stamp buddy is.

Here are the cards: (this is a new program and I cannot get the photos to rotate!!  Arghhh!)


tech: ruffle the seam binding ribbon using tape runner or red liner tape, line up the scalloped punches, and   

tech: center the rounded squares, a clean and simple card!

technique: brayer and light sponging just on the top.

tech: colored pencils, using a light neutral color to blend

tech: just adhere circles and half circles and scrunch up  the flower

tech: just punch out the bird and wing (I will have the edge  embossed and branch  die cut for you)

tech: direct to paper

tech: stamp onto the square and color with markers

tech: masking, use decorative scissors

tech: center the two label shapes, tie a knot, adhere leaves and twine with  glue dots

easy peasy---punch, stamp and adhere

most involved card of the bunch: cut out shells, rough up and dtp edges,  crumple paper,  tie  (embossed swirls will be done for you)

pretty easy, too: reverse rock and roll, spray with  water and stamp.  punch out mini scalloped edge, stamp on bkgd and sentiment, punch, adhere lace knot
