My Husband's birthday card....project!

I finally gave my dh his birthday card.  I went around asking family members reasons why my dh should be celebrated as he is at a milestone age.  After getting the answers, I had to think of how to put all these things into a card.  I cut out 7 panels for his accordion card.  Lo and behold, the project all worked out!  The  7 panels worked out exactly and with 3 photos (in the front),  here it is!

When I gave it to him he said, "This isn't a card.  It's a project!"  After he read through it, I had to ask, "did you like it?"  He said he did then modestly added, "How much did you have to pay people to say nice things about me?"

Play Date Cafe Challenge #88

I found Play Date Cafe Challenge and decided to play along.  I would never thought of this color combo, so it was a true challenge for me!  I used Stampin' Up! colors: tangerine tango, daffodil delight and sage shadow.  Here's my card using the set Every Moment with the water color technique (using aqua painter).

Baby Brag Book

This baby brag book is a fun gift to give!  It is folded accordion style and features 6 panels decorated with either stamping or designer paper. (It is important to use really tacky adhesive like double sided tape or a dotted tape runner.)   This is the latest one I made for M. and her baby girl. If there is enough interest I may feature a baby brag book, like this one, as an option in our Card Class. So if you're interested comment and let me know!

ColourQ 91

This week's ColourQ used bravo burgundy, ruby red, night of navy, basic gray and white.  This combo was out of my familiarity zone.  I also followed the card sketch from CardPatterns: Sketch 122---hence the reason for the non-standard size card.  Here's my card below:
