Fast and Easy cards

I make the birthday cards for the ladies in our church and so here some of them.  They are water colored with ink pads and the aqua painter using the Crazy for Cupcakes set.  The top was border punched and then inside I sponged on color.  Fun, fast and easy!

Mini Cupcakes

I got the idea for this card while standing in line, perusing a few cards.  I liked the idea of making mini cupcakes with a cherry on top!  Here's the recipe:

stamps:  Something to Celebrate
card stock:  pretty in pink, chocolate chip, poppy parade, very vanilla, pool party
ink:  chocolate chip
accessories:  elegant embossing folder, chocolate chip 5/8" satin ribbon, red glitter (ret.), cupcake punch, 1" circle punch

ColourQ challenge 90

This week's ColourQ challenge and my entry:

Telescoping Card

This card is a Telescoping card because of the way it opens.  I just had to try it!

Stamps: Fabulous Florets, With All My Heart
Card stock:  tangerine tango, whisper white
Ink:  melon mambo, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight
Accessories:  Scallop circle die, coluzzle circles, brads, ribbon

*in the future I would use circle dies to cut the circles and the 2 1/2" circle punch for the smaller circle on top.

Delicate Doilies

Here's a new set that will be in the 2011-2012 idea book and catalog called Delicate Doilies.  There is also designer paper called Flirtatious that looks similar, which is what I based this card on.  I made 3 versions with the same base.

Stamps: Something to celebrate (hostess), Delicate Doilies
Card stock: whisper white, wisteria wonder
Ink:  pink pirouette, wisteria wonder, real rose, daffodil delight, versa mark
Accessories:  lace border punch, pink taffeta ribbon, dazzling diamonds glitter, crystal effects, brayer
