March 2012 Card night!

We had a fabulous card club tonight!  Everyone: Maurine, Lindsay, Megan, Barbara, La Donna, and Star did a great job making their cards.  I had fun listening to everyone chat and share.  It is so great how the Stampin' Sisters are stepping up their creativity and coming prepared with their card kits.  Sooooo, with that said, I will have another drawing in April for all who have at least 5 items in their card kit.  Card kits must include at least 5 things including: tape runner, glue dots, and bone folder.

Our next Card Club will be: Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

March 2012 Card Club

Stampin' Sisters, our March Card Club is coming up!  Here are the details:

Sign up to make 6 cards.  You can make a 7th "shape" card if you pre-pay by March 20, 2012.
Date:  Wednesday, March 21, 2012 
Times:  11 AM, 7 PM, 8:15 PM
Place:  my place
Pre-pay:  $5 materials fee (non-refundable) 
Bring your Card Kit : 1. adhesive/tape runner, 2. back up adhesive/refill, 3. glue dots, 4. bone folder, 5. scissors 6. ruler, 7. pencil. 
Stamp Buddy: Have someone lined up in case you can't make it last minute and let me know who it is.

Mini photo album

This is the mini album I made for my friend, Lisa, who just had her baby last week.  It's a simple photo album/brag book.  If there is enough interest, we can make one in card class as well as cards.  So, let me know if you're interested in making one.  

February 2012 date change

February Card Club 2012

Hey, Stampin' Sisters,

I enjoyed your card theme suggestions.  Sign up to make 6 cards.  Again, please bring your card kit (tape runner, bone folder, scissors, glue dots, ruler) and $5 materials fee.  Everyone who pre-pays gets to make a 7th "shape" card.  The shape card will be revealed on Card Club day.

Cars, trucks, and flowers

We had a blast making cards with cars, trucks and flowers!  And those who pre-paid got to make the bonus card: a card in the shape of a Scottish Terrier!  Each month those who pre-pay their materials fee will get to make the bonus card.  Drawings!  La Donna won for best card kit (she got a clear/frosted tote to carry her cards, Mary Kay lotion to keep hands prepped to make cards and chocolate---for fun)!  Maurine won the drawing for being a blog follower.  She got a bunch of birthday cards made by yours truly.  We may have some more drawings in the future.  : )

January 2012 Card Club!

Card Club 2012:

To make card club/poker night with the Stampin' Sisters run smoothly, please follow these guidelines:

A.   Bring your card kit (the following is a minimal list, you can have more): 

1.  Adhesives (tape runner and refill OR double sided tape)

2.   Glue dots 

3.  Scissors 

4. Ruler

5. Bone folder.   

* I may have tape runners  for purchase that night @ $3.25,  or refills for $2.25, in case you need to purchase one.   (I  have 150 glue dots for purchase at $1.75 per roll.)

 B.  Please, pre-pay the non-refundable $5 class materials fee. 

C.  If you sign up for a class and cannot come, you must find a stamp buddy (sorry, I cannot be your stamp buddy; I'm leading the club) to stamp your cards for you.  (When you sign up I take time to prepare your cards by measuring, cutting, counting out and figuring out supplies and accessories needed.  This preparation cannot be "undone.")

D.  Due to time constraints and scheduling availability, there will not be any more make up classes.   Thank you for understanding.



January 18, 2012 is our first card club of the year!  There are 3 time slots: 11 AM, 7 PM, and 8:15 pm.   Sign up by Jan. 15, 2012 to make 6 cards!   *Two drawings will be held:  One for the best (minimal supplies at least) card kit and another for blog followers.
