April 2012 Card Club

April Card Club coming up on April 18!  :)


Sign up to make 6 cards.  You can make a 7th "shape" card when you pre-pay by April 15.
Date: Wednesday, April 18, 2012
Times: 11 AM, 7 PM and 8:15 PM
Place: my place
Pre-pay: $5 materials fee (non-refundable)
Bring:  Card Kit (at least the first three items): tape runner, glue dots, bone folder, scissors, pencil, eraser, ruler, etc.


Have a stamp buddy you can call on last minute in case you can't make it.  Please, let me know who your stamp buddy is.


Here are the cards:

shape will be cut out already, so when stamping line up the point on the bottom  to center

may pencil in a light line for bunting, best to use a tiny dot of Elmer's glue to adhere bunting, use brush tip marker to color  sentiment with  lucky limeade, then use brush tip brown marker to highlight "happy birthday"

use tape runner to make two strips of adhesive, adhere pre-cut squares of patterned paper  overlapping, and then stamp

March 2012 Card night!

We had a fabulous card club tonight!  Everyone: Maurine, Lindsay, Megan, Barbara, La Donna, and Star did a great job making their cards.  I had fun listening to everyone chat and share.  It is so great how the Stampin' Sisters are stepping up their creativity and coming prepared with their card kits.  Sooooo, with that said, I will have another drawing in April for all who have at least 5 items in their card kit.  Card kits must include at least 5 things including: tape runner, glue dots, and bone folder.

Our next Card Club will be: Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

March 2012 Card Club

Stampin' Sisters, our March Card Club is coming up!  Here are the details:

Bring your Card Kit : 1. adhesive/tape runner, 2. back up adhesive/refill, 3. glue dots, 4. bone folder, 5. scissors 6. ruler, 7. pencil. 
Stamp Buddy: Have someone lined up in case you can't make it last minute and let me know who it is.

Mini photo album

This is the mini album I made for my friend, Lisa, who just had her baby last week.  It's a simple photo album/brag book.  If there is enough interest, we can make one in card class as well as cards.  So, let me know if you're interested in making one.  

February 2012 date change

Hi Stampin' Sisters,

I am changing the date for our card club to Thursday, February 23.  Same times, just different date.  Changing the date to accommodate more schedules.  Hope to see more of you sign up!  : )

February Card Club 2012

Hey, Stampin' Sisters,

I enjoyed your card theme suggestions.  Sign up to make 6 cards.  Again, please bring your card kit (tape runner, bone folder, scissors, glue dots, ruler) and $5 materials fee.  Everyone who pre-pays gets to make a 7th "shape" card.  The shape card will be revealed on Card Club day.

Cars, trucks, and flowers

We had a blast making cards with cars, trucks and flowers!  And those who pre-paid got to make the bonus card: a card in the shape of a Scottish Terrier!  Each month those who pre-pay their materials fee will get to make the bonus card.  Drawings!  La Donna won for best card kit (she got a clear/frosted tote to carry her cards, Mary Kay lotion to keep hands prepped to make cards and chocolate---for fun)!  Maurine won the drawing for being a blog follower.  She got a bunch of birthday cards made by yours truly.  We may have some more drawings in the future.  : )
